Secal auxilia nos trabalhos do Observatório Social dos Campos Gerais

A diretora da Faculdades Secal e uma dos vice-presidentes do Observatório Social dos Campos Gerais, Isaura Andrade recebeu o presidente do órgão, Ney da Nóbrega Ribas para uma conversa com os coordenadores dos cursos de Letras, Pedagogia, Jornalismo, Administração, Ciências Contábeis e Direito. O encontro foi na sala de reuniões da Direção.

“Nós temos muito que contribuir para o projeto. Queremos incentivar ainda mais nossos alunos a participarem do Observatório para que tenham um olhar ampliado, participante da sociedade. Isso cria um espírito de mudança neles e consequentemente na cidade. É uma missão de transformação”, explica Isaura.

Ney Ribas agradeceu o convite e explicou que o Observatório está crescendo, bem como as demandas. “A maior parte das pessoas são voluntárias. É um trabalho em longo prazo. Hoje Ponta Grossa é um suporte técnico dentro dos Campos Gerais e queremos expandir, dentro do possível para outros municípios, por isso estamos oxigenando o órgão com novos conselheiros”, afirmou.

Os coordenadores de Jornalismo, Helton Costa e de Letras, Josiane Franzó foram empossados e agora também fazem parte do Observatório como conselheiros. “Queremos auxiliar de maneira efetiva tanto no trabalho de fiscalização, como no trabalho de estruturação dessa expansão que o Ney falou”, contou Helton.

O Observatório é uma organização que visa agregar entidades civis para que contribuam com a melhora da gestão dos recursos públicos. Para isso realiza capacitações e quando necessário acompanha os trabalhos dos órgãos públicos de maneira fiscalizadora. A Secal apóia a iniciativa e incentiva os alunos para que também participem.
