Saiba como o TDAH tem grande influência nas vidas das pessoas

A médica Franciane Martinazzo, psicóloga especialista em neuropsicopedagogia conta a respeito do “Transtorno de déficit de atenção e hiperatividade em adultos”, o famoso TDAH, um transtorno neurobiológico de causas genéticas, que aparece na infância e frequentemente acompanha o indivíduo por toda a sua vida. Ele se caracteriza por sintomas de desatenção, inquietude e impulsividade.

Muitos ainda desconhecem o TDAH, alguns descobrem logo na infância ou adolescência, mas outros são diagnosticados no início da vida adulta. O que muitas pessoas desconhecem é que o TDAH pode também persistir na vida adulta da pessoa. Adultos com TDAH costumam ter uma baixa autoestima, dificuldades de autoconfiança, terem sido vitimas de ‘bullying’ escolar e/ou familiar, portanto é necessário o tratamento psicológico.

O Alon Possidonio Chang Che, instrutor de boxe, conta sobre seu estilo de vida logo após o diagnóstico. “Eu descobri o TDAH com oito anos, depois tive mais diagnósticos com o passar da adolescência”, afirma.

Alon também conta das mudanças neurológicas principalmente a miopia temporal e a dificuldade de se preparar para eventos futuros. Como instrutor de boxe, Alon diz que sua imperatividade pode ser controlada com meditação e um pouco de autocontrole.

Veja a seguir alguns sintomas que se encontram com maior frequência e intensidade em adultos com TDAH:

  • Instabilidade profissional;
  • Rendimento abaixo da capacidade intelectual;
  • Falta de foco e atenção;
  • Dificuldade de seguir rotinas;
  • Tédio;
  • Maior incidência de divórcios e separações conjugais;
  • Maior incidência de acidentes de trânsito;
  • Dificuldade de planejamento e execução das tarefas propostas;
  • Maior índice de desemprego;
  • Procrastinação;
  • Ansiedade diante das tarefas não estimulantes;
  • Maior índice de desistência em Universidades / evasão escolar;
  • Dificuldades nos relacionamentos; relacionamentos instáveis;
  • Frequente alteração de humor;
  • Frequentes esquecimentos, perdas e descuidos para datas e reuniões importantes;
  • Dificuldades para expressar suas ideias, colocar em prática o que está pensando/em sua cabeça;
  • Dificuldade para escutar e esperar a sua vez de falar;
  • Frequente busca por novas coisas que o estimulem; intolerância a situações monótonas e repetitivas;
  • Repetição frequente de erros, frequente falta de atenção com coisas simples.

Para quem se identifica com uns desses sintomas, o tratamento pode ser realizado com um médico neurologista e com psicólogo. Psicoterapia e tratamento medicamentoso de uso contínuo também são indicados.
