O ciclo de filmes “Jornalismo e Cidadania” apresentou nesta quarta-feira o documentário Miss Representation, durante a terceira Semana da Cidadania das Faculdades Secal. Realizado no miniauditório da Unidade 2, teve como mediadora a professora de Jornalismo Andressa Kikuti.
O documentário feito nos Estados Unidos tem como objetivo principal mostrar que a mídia não faz uma boa representação das mulheres. Já começa mostrando sobre o que se trata com o trocadilho existente no nome usando a palavra “miss”. Trata ainda da forma como mídia influencia o pensamento das crianças, porém passando uma imagem esteriotipada da mulher. Começa dando informações como quanto tempo os jovens passam nas redes sociais. Conta com entrevistas de políticas, atrizes, estudantes, diretoras e também roteiristas.
A professora e mediadora, Andressa Kikuti comentou sobre o documentário. “Ele retrata muito bem estas questões de gênero, que são extremamente necessárias e importantes para discutir, tanto na representação da mulher na sociedade e principalmente no caso da mídia”, afirma.
Dois alunos do quinto período de Jornalismo comentaram sobre o filme e o debate. Edilene Oliveira disse que, “esse é um tema que precisa ser discutido pois é uma realidade que temos hoje em dia, a questão da desigualdade entre homens e mulheres em vários aspectos em várias áreas e principalmente na mídia.”
Já Igor Baggio declarou que, “é um tema que deve ser debatido principalmente para a igualdade de gêneros”. “Uma coisa que percebemos no mercado de trabalho é que a mulher ganha menos do que o homem e exerce a mesma função”, argumenta.
Na quinta-feira o evento continua com a mostra de um documentário sobre “O massacre de 29 de abril” , ocorrido durante a greve do professores da rede pública do Paraná em 2015, e terá como mediadora as professoras Maria Fernanda Cordeiro e Marília Woiciechovski, no miniauditório da Unidade 2, às 19h.
