Jornalismo cidadão foi tema de debate na 4ª Semana da Cidadania da Secal

A 4ª Semana da Cidadania da Faculdade Secal teve início na noite da última segunda-feira (15/05). Na primeira noite do Evento os acadêmicos do curso de Jornalismo e Pedagogia puderam prestigiar a Mesa Redonda “Jornalismo cidadão no tempo de sensacionalismo e futilidades”, intermediada pela professora Luciane Navarro.
O debate contou com a presença da produtora da Rede Paranaense de Comunicação (RPC) de Ponta Grossa, Emanoelle Wisnievski, do produtor da Rede Massa, Daniel Petroski, e do diretor de imagens da TV Educativa (TVE), Hewerton Lisboa. O objetivo foi proporcionar uma reflexão sobre o uso das mídias sociais como facilitadoras da sociedade, enquanto autora social, na contribuição para o jornalismo na elaboração de conteúdos noticiáveis.
Entre os assuntos mais abordados na Mesa Redonda, se destacou a questão da “importância da checagem”. Isso porque, com a participação ativa da sociedade, assuntos dos mais variados tipos chegam às redações todos os dias. Os profissionais explicam que apenas 30% do conteúdo enviado através das redes sociais se tornam noticiáveis e que a filtragem é feita com cautela e cuidado.
Além disso, foram abordadas também questões relacionadas à “importância da televisão como um meio de transformação social”, “a proximidade entre telespectadores” e o “ato de noticiar, proporcionado pelas tecnologias”.
Para Daniel Petroski os debates sobre cidadania são de grande importância no meio no meio acadêmico. “Não existe profissão que não esteja ligada ao cidadão ou vice-versa”, afirma o produtor.
