O lago de olarias é sem dúvida uma belíssima atração da cidade de Ponta Grossa, além da beleza o parque conta com várias atividades esportivas, como uma quadra de futebol, bicicletas individuais e coletivas para um passeio com a família, e também conta com moradores ilustres como a capivara que mora na ilha do lago e muitas espécies de aves. O parque também conta com uma grande segurança dos guardas municipais.

Devido à pandemia da Covid-19, o Lago de Olarias chegou a ser interditado. Mas nesse ano, já está aberto normalmente para a população prestigiar o local. O parque agora, conta também com um Centro de Educação Ambiental (CEA), que atuará na sensibilização com o meio ambiente e a ecologia. O parque tem também, todo cuidado com o paisagismo, plantio de árvores e a realização da manutenção nos canteiros do lago.

Pra quem ainda não visitou, o lago se encontra na rua Ivo Mendes Barreto, 10, no bairro de Olarias.
