O índice de pessoas que não sabem ou não querem votar nas eleições apontam números consideráveis no Paraná. Segundo pesquisa do Ibope, que envolve os candidatos ao governo do Estado, dos 1.008 eleitores ouvidos pelo instituto, 22% declararam que vão votar branco ou vão anular seus votos, enquanto 15% afirmaram não saber em quem vão votar.

Preocupada com estes índices, a Associação Comercial, Industrial e Empresarial de Ponta Grossa (ACIPG) lançou a Campanha #seuvotoseuespelho. O objetivo é sensibilizar a população, de modo apartidário, para que seja exercido pelo maior número de pessoas o direito de cidadania, conscientizando sobre a sua importância dentro da democracia.

A Campanha acontecerá em parceria com diversos meios de comunicação e informação da região e se estenderá até final do período eleitoral. A ação também possui o intuito de conscientizar os eleitores sobre a importância não apenas de votar, mas de votar de acordo com a consciência e pesquisar sobre o candidato.

Para Israel Macedo, 19 anos, voto é de grande importância para que possamos fazer parte do processo de democracia do nosso país, ainda que a política atual e os candidatos não agradem. “É um direito e dever como cidadãos brasileiros de participar. Como ainda sou jovem, preciso iniciar agora a mudança e ela parte principalmente na escolha das pessoas que irão cuidar do país, sendo assim, não podemos desistir agora de dar um rumo diferente a nossa nação”, afirma.

O Núcleo ACIPG Jovem, realizou na manhã do sábado (1º), um ‘adesivaço’ nas ruas do centro de PG, alusiva a Campanha #seuvotoseuespelho.
