Tudo correu bem na 1ª Parada LGBT+ em PG

Mesmo após críticas e tentativas de desestímulo para participação, não houve nenhum incidente que exigisse a presença de SAMU, bombeiros ou Polícia Militar

No domingo (25), Ponta Grossa celebrou a diversidade com a 1ª Parada Cultural LGBT+ dos Campos Gerais. Mais de 600 pessoas se reuniram na concentração, realizada na Praça Barão do Rio Branco, às 13 horas, em favor do amor e contra a discriminação. Por volta das 15 horas a multidão marchou “colorindo” a Avenida Vicente Machado com as cores do arco íris, símbolo da comunidade LGBT+. A festa seguiu até às 20 horas com atividades culturais e shows de drag queens, marca desse tipo de evento que já ocorre em outras cidades do estado como Curitiba, Londrina e Maringá.

Segundo Guilherme Portela, coordenador geral do Diretório Central de Estudantes (DCE) da UEPG, que organizou a festa, o objetivo é empoderar as minorias para celebrar um momento de resistência e força. “É homenagear as vidas que já foram e as vidas que ainda estão por vir e que precisam viver em uma sociedade mais saudável e segura para todos e todas”, diz. Para ele, é preciso que haja políticas públicas nacionais que assegurem não só os direitos da comunidade LGBT, mas de todos os segmentos não majoritários.

O perfil conservador de algumas pessoas, de acordo com Guilherme, foi um dos maiores obstáculos que a comunidade sofreu para organizar o evento. “O conservadorismo complicou os processos burocráticos. Algumas parcerias e apoios tiveram uma desconfiança na parte legislativa, mas a nossa força e resistência é muito maior do que qualquer outra força conservadora. Além disso, as instituições e ONGs que nos apoiaram sabiam que o DCE faz política com responsabilidade, por isso não foi difícil conseguir ajuda”, explica.

Um dos espetáculos da Parada foi os figurinos usados pelas drag queens que desfilaram nas principais ruas da cidade. Esse foi o caso de Uly (46), membro assíduo da militância há mais de 20 anos e que andou orgulhosa e cheia de plumas..“Jamais imaginei que veria um evento como esse em Ponta Grossa, é um momento muito feliz, algo que eu achei que ia morrer sem poder contemplar. Tentamos fazer algo parecido uns 20 anos atrás e conseguimos reunir apenas dez pessoas”, festejou. Para ela, esse é um momento especial e de mudança, no qual os LGBTs precisam sair da escuridão, dos guetos e viver plenamente.

A drag queen Izzy Hiltoon, 22 anos, que fez uma apresentação durante a Parada, também chamou a atenção com o look glamoroso. Ao ser questionada em relação a necessidade de políticas públicas, Izzy apontou a segurança como uma das maiores preocupações da comunidade LGBT, pois o Brasil é o país onde mais se assassina homossexuais no mundo.

Mas a Parada LGBT+ não vive apenas do público gay, vários  heterossexuais prestigiaram o evento e aplaudiram a causa. “Eu como membro da população já privilegiada, que são os héteros, faço questão de estar aqui. Pois quanto mais apoio, mais visibilidade para as minorias. E apenas com representatividade e se mostrando presentes no mundo eles poderão exigir as políticas públicas necessárias”, aponta o advogado Murilo Tadra do Carmo,(29).

E graças ao sucesso desse primeiro evento a continuidade já está sendo programada para 2019. “A partir da 1ª Parada, se tornou obrigatório repetir, então ano que vem já está confirmada a 2ª Parada Cultural LGBT+ dos Campos Gerais, pois são em eventos como este que conseguimos transformar a cultura da nossa cidade. E sempre lembrando: com muito respeito, amor e segurança para todas as vidas”, finaliza o coordenador.
