É o caso do bombeiro Diego Coradim e da sua esposa Ellen Gubert, que há três anos ajudam instituições de caridade doando ovos de chocolate para crianças carentes. Os dois anunciam as arrecadações das barras de chocolate em redes sociais e a amigos próximos, e com as doações Ellen se disponibiliza a fazer os ovos um a um. Ela assinala que prefere fazer manualmente, mesmo que haja mais trabalho, ao invés de arrecadar doações de ovos prontos, pois cada quilo de chocolate rende sete ovos de 250 gramas cada. Assim eles podem alcançar um número maior de crianças.
Este ano já conseguiram arrecadar aproximadamente mil e quinhentos reais em doações. A instituição que receberá os ovos será o Centro Espírita Caminho da Luz, localizado em Uvaranas, que ajudará crianças de duas escolas do distrito de Itaiacoca e do assentamento de São João do Triunfo. Ao todo, 370 crianças serão beneficiadas.
Ellen diz que para o próximo ano pretende colocar também um brinquedo dentro de cada ovo para aumentar ainda mais a alegria da criançada.
