Doença que tirou Lady Gaga do Rock’in Rio atinge três em cada 100 brasileiros

O primeiro dia do festival de rock brasileiro foi surpreendido pelo cancelamento da apresentação da cantora pop Lady Gaga. O motivo do cancelamento foram dores decorrentes da síndrome de fibromialgia. A artista era a atração principal do dia 15 de setembro e foi substituída pela banda Maroon Five.

O que impossibilitou a estrela pop de fazer seu show ainda é pouco popular, conhecido como fibromialgia e se enquadra nas doenças reumatológicas. Ela atinge 3% da população brasileira, segundo a Sociedade Brasileira de Reumatologia (SBR).

O paciente que sofre dessa doença tem dores pelo corpo, em diferentes lugares por longos períodos de tempo. Ela também provoca sensibilidade nas articulações, músculos, tendões e outros tecidos moles. Essas dores podem ocasionar distúrbios de sono, fadiga excessiva e episódios depressivos.

De acordo com o Portal Brasil, a doença não pode ser diagnosticada por exames laboratoriais e não causa mudanças externas nas pessoas, fazendo com que seja difícil diagnosticá-la.

As pessoas mais afetadas são mulheres entre 30 e 55 anos. Ani Aneli Brasileiro da Luz, é proprietária de um salão de beleza e tem 35 anos. Ela relatou que seu diagnóstico foi feito por meio de inúmeros exames para descartar as possíveis doenças crônicas, entre elas o lúpus. Atualmente ela se trata com antidepressivos e analgésicos.

Ela destacou a dificuldade em manter sua rotina. “As dores, sem dúvida, te deixam impotente para viver um dia a dia normal”, afirma.

Taís Maria Ferreira, é técnica pedagógica do laboratório de Fotografia da Faculdade Secal e é mais uma das mulheres que enfrenta a doença. Seu diagnóstico foi feito depois de ela sentir muitas dores pelo corpo. Com intensidade maior e menos em locais variados, ela relatou que tentou muitos medicamentos, mas que atualmente alivia as dores com repouso e redução de atividades da sua rotina. “Como não tem um remédio específico, como para a dor de cabeça, dor de dente, isso é ruim porque você toma um medicamento, mas ele só vai aliviar e não curar. A persistência da dor é a pior parte”, relata.

O Tratamento consiste em relaxantes musculares, analgésicos fortes, antidepressivos e atividades físicas. Outras terapias podem contribuir na melhora do paciente, como acupuntura, a homeopatia, as plantas medicinais e fitoterápicos, entre outras. Tudo isso pode minimizar as dores, mas a doença não tem cura.
