Durante a pandemia, o número de entregadores subiu drasticamente, tendo como consequência um aumento significativo de acidentes graves e mortes com motociclistas. Na necessidade urgente de impedir com que o país parasse, em decorrência da pandemia, os entregadores aceleraram ainda mais colocando a própria vida em risco. Eles lutam contra o tráfego em alta velocidade em seu cotidiano. É uma corrida contra o tempo.

Durante a pandemia, o número de acidentes graves envolvendo entregadores aumentou. De janeiro a agosto deste ano, mesmo com o isolamento social, morreram 82 motociclistas no Estado de São Paulo, 54% a mais que no mesmo período do ano passado.
Allan Souza faz parte dessa triste estatística. No mês passado, ele se envolveu em um acidente de ônibus, enquanto fazia entregas para a lanchonete em que trabalhava.
Em uma entrevista para a Record TV, a mãe dona Conceição Souza conta que sempre teve seu coração apertado quando o filho saia trabalhar. “Mãe de motoqueiro não tem paz, não tem sossego. Hoje eu choro a morte do meu filho.”.

Contratações em PG
Em Ponta Grossa, o número de contratações e de motoboys circulando nas ruas também aumentou.
Walber Vinícius dos Santos, atualmente entregador da empresa Dina Motos, conta que está no ramo há mais de 3 anos. “Com a pandemia tivemos um aumento de 50% nas contratações, e atualmente contamos com uma equipe de 80 entregadores”, explica.
Walber conta que nunca perdeu nenhum amigo próximo vítima de acidente, mas que infelizmente já presenciou várias situações com colegas de profissão, e que muitos perderam sua vida.
“O Azrhael morreu em outubro do ano passado. Conheci de vista, entre uma corrida e outra. A morte dele comoveu a cidade”, relembra Walber.

Uma vítima na cidade
Em agosto deste ano, o jovem Alisson Feitosa foi mais uma vítima de acidente de trânsito na BR-376, em Ponta Grossa. Ele colidiu com a traseira de um caminhão Scania/R113, o qual tracionava dois semirreboques. Alisson chegou a ser socorrido e foi levado para o Hospital Universitário Regional dos Campos Gerais pelas equipes de socorro da concessionária. Porém, o jovem não resistiu aos ferimentos e acabou falecendo. Ele tinha 19 anos e era motoboy.
Em sua rede social, Vanessa Ribeiro, mãe de Alisson desabafou. “Meu filho, você me deixou. Espero você todos os dias chegar. Seu abraço, sua companhia…Como você faz falta. Saudades imensa de você, eu te amo”, finalizou.
