A Prefeitura de Ponta Grossa, através da Secretaria Municipal de Educação e da Fundação Municipal de Cultura, realizou hoje (07) a abertura oficial do III Congresso de Educação que está sendo realizado no Complexo Jovanni Pedro Masini (pátio externo da Biblioteca Pública Municipal). O evento ocorrerá entre os dias 07 e 15 de setembro, a VII Feira do livro disponibilizou ao público diversas palestras com autores e oficinas pedagógicas.
A abertura da terceira edição da Flicampos 2015, contou com a apresentação da Banda Lira dos Campos, e também o Prefeito Marcelo Rangel e a Secretária de Educação e de Ponta Grossa, Esméria de Lourdes Saveli, a autora de diversas obras Lia Faria convidada pela Livraria e Papelaria Torres e demais autoridades representativas. Esméria apresentou ao público Lucélia Clarindo, idealizadora do Bando da Leitura, o projeto iniciou em sua própria residência e foi ganhando espaço com o decorrer do tempo. “Os professores não precisam somente de livros técnicos, mas precisam de literatura, as crianças precisam de literatura”, afirma Esméria.
Entre as homenageadas deste ano está uma das primeiras literárias de Ponta Grossa, poetisa e novelista Anita Philipovsky.
A Secretaria Municipal de Educação destinou recurso de R$ 998 mil para as escolas investirem nos acervos literários durante a realização do Congresso de Educação. “Esse é um espaço de cultura, para que os professores e os alunos venham buscar o que querem ler nas salas de aula”, destaca a Secretária.
“ A Feira do livro e o Congresso de Educação coroa o trabalho dos educadores, professores, diretores e merendeiras que trabalham com as crianças do município”, ressalta Marcelo Rangel.
Além das palestras e oficinas, a programação ainda inclui contação de estórias e lançamentos de livros. As inscrições para as atividades do Congresso de Educação 2015 podem ser feitas através do site da Prefeitura de Ponta Grossa, as atividades são gratuitas e abertas ao público.
