Crônica: O Bar da Marilda

De quando em vez a gente se pega pensando na infância. De vez em quando é algo marcante. Já que eu precisava escrever uma crônica para a matéria da professora Mônica e tais pensamentos rodeavam minha cabeça como moscas, decidi unir as memórias ao agradável. Quando eu era um rebento, lá pelo fim do selvagem “anos 90”, meu avô gostava de fazer uma peregrinação todo final de semana a um estabelecimento de paixão nacional, o boteco. Além de bater o cartão em tal lugar o velho me levava. E lá tive vários ensinamentos sobre a vida, universo, coisa e tal.

O boteco que tanto me prende a lembrança é um chamado pelos frequentadores de “Bar da Marilda”. O lugar não tinha realmente um nome, pelo menos eu acho. Nunca soube do real nome de “batismo” dado pelo governo para o bar. Mas me lembro de praticamente tudo desse lugar que hoje se encontra em um distante espaço-tempo. Hoje tal requintado estabelecimento virou uma pastelaria. Não é mais algo que me de vontade de visitar. Mas sempre quando chego lá pelas onze e meia na Piraí City – o antigo-bar-atual-pastelaria fica em uma das entradas da cidade – todas as memórias passam pela minha cabeça, perdoem o clichê, igual num filme, com todos os pequenos detalhes, como cheiro – o cheiro do bar era uma mistura de cerveja, cigarro, cera de chão e algum tipo de produto de limpeza – e até a cor que os dias que eu passava lá tinham.

Na frente um ponto de ônibus tampava a visão do bar. A bodega ficava ao lado de uma borracharia e mecânica de caminhões, ou seja, um ótimo lugar para atrair caminhoneiros, meu vô era um, e tinha uma grande atração pelo lugar. O barzinho era de madeira sem pintar, e tinha uma pequena varanda onde ficavam umas cadeiras e mesas. Dentro era sem pintura igual do lado de fora, mas o chão era feito de uma mistura de cimento e um tipo de cera amarela, que dão o nome de Amarelão, e se mistura os dois o chão fica liso com a cor do Amarelão – pode ser vermelho também, apesar de vir de uma família de construtores não fui agraciado com esse talento. Tinha também umas mesas de metal, daquelas que chacoalham muito, da Skol, onde este que vos fala aprendeu a jogar Truco, e uma das “artes marciais” de jogos de baralhos, fazer maço – se você não sabe o que é isso, sugiro beber e jogar no bar mais próximo. Mais para o fundo o balcão, tinham alguns doces de amendoim e chicletes, além de alguns aperitivos como linguiça frita e ovos coloridos, verdadeiros exemplos de culinária de botecos, hipsters, designers e publicitários!

 No meio tomando conta de quase todo o espaço do boteco uma mesa de sinuca. Uma mesa comum, mas que lembro totalmente de todos os pequenos detalhes, pois foi onde aprendi a jogar, e modéstias favas como diz o amigo Bruno, jogo bem. Era verde o tecido, tinha alguns nomes escritos com giz. Em volta era branca com muito giz nos cantos de metal, daqueles azuis que ninguém realmente sabe pra que serve. Mas sempre passa na ponta do taco. Os tacos ficavam na parede da frente presos ao lado de um pôster de propaganda de cerveja, onde jazia a foto duma mulher nos moldes que todos conhecemos. Em outra parede mais ao fundo tinha recostada tranquila e luzidamente uma máquina de caça níquel. Jogava sempre. Nunca ganhei. Minha tia jogou uma vez. Ganhou. Trauma de infância.

Sempre que via meu avô saindo, já o seguia sem nem pensar. Ia perguntando se podia ir junto já indo. Lá ele e ficava recostado no balcão degustando uma cerveja, pitando um cigarro e conversando com outros caminhoneiros, alguns pudins de cana e os donos que eram os atendentes. Marilda, a dona e “xará” do bar,  que tinha uma voz rouca de fumante era baixinha e usava uns óculos de aro grosso e quadrado antes de invadir os rostos de jovens descolados pelos quatro cantos do país, e o marido dela que não lembro o nome muito menos o rosto. Meu vô ficava lá um bom tempo, e eu também. E eu tomava apenas refrigerante com doces, estejam avisadas as autoridades. Mas não posso dizer que tal lugar e hábito familiar não me influenciaram um pouco… É, terminando vejo que não era algo tão sensacional como minha mente mostra. Mas se eu soubesse que era um treinamento para o início da vida adulta teria aproveitado mais.

PS: Apesar dos pesares, Professora Mônica, pronta está, mesmo que atrasada um par de semanas. Peço perdão pelo vacilo!
