Moradores do Cará Cará destacam a evolução do bairro

O Cará Cará se tornou um dos maiores bairros de Ponta Grossa. Trinta e seis vilas fazem parte da rica história do bairro. Para os moradores do local, a vida é boa porque o bairro tem tudo. No entanto, lamentam que pouca gente conheça o Cára Cará em suas especificidades. O pacato lugar nasceu em volta da antiga Estação Ferroviária, onde os maquinistas moravam para ficar mais perto do emprego. A vila contava com poucos moradores. Tinha somente a “Escola do Cará Cará” que ficava no final do bairro, onde hoje está a Vila Bárbara.

Até hoje todos que estudaram na antiga escola contam que naquele tempo , em meados dos anos de 1981. A vida era difícil. Ghislei Rodrigues, que vive no bairro desde quando nasceu conta que tudo era complicado naquele tempo, mas a vida ali era feliz. “Se você visse o que era! O bairro tinha umas 20 pessoas. Os filhos dos moradores trabalhavam na antiga Rede Ferroviária Federal Sociedade Anônima (RFFSA). Nós sempre estávamos brincando na beira do rio. Era um tempo muito bom! As lembranças trazem saudades”.

Desenvolvimento e Representatividade

Ivete Rodrigues também viveu a infância e está no bairro até hoje. Ela conta que, juntamente com Sandra Queiroz, que era vereadora na época, trouxe o básico para a Vila. “Foi uma presença boa. Nós não tínhamos nada”. Dona Ivete que deu nome às ruas do bairro, em homenagem ao Aeroporto Sant’Ana, decidiu por nomes de aeronaves, a exemplo de Rua 14 Bis, Boeing, Corisco. Também trouxe a Escola Municipal Deodoro Alves Quintiliano e o Posto de Saúde com a ajuda do prefeito da época, Pedro Wosgrau Filho. “Hoje digo que o Cará Cará é um local evoluído. Eu trouxe muita coisa para o bairro,mas sei que nada conseguiria sem a luta dos moradores do bairro. É um povo trabalhador”, completa.

A população do bairro trabalha em empresas perto de casa. Marcos Schuerzoski, que trabalha na W3 Indústria Metalúrgica, considera um privilégio trabalhar perto de casa. “Gastar com gasolina é complicado. O dinheiro que eu economizo por estar perto do meu trabalho, aplico em outras coisas necessárias para o meu dia-a-dia”.

Como entendem os moradores, o bairro tem muito a melhorar, porém sentem orgulho em dizer que o Cara Cará está melhor e em evolução em sua história de 50 anos. Dizem que o bairro tem representatividade no município. Os moradores sentem-se orgulhosos em registrar que algumas das principais empresas de Ponta Grossa se encontram no bairro, como a W3 Indústria Metalúrgica, Winner, Madero, GR, Porto de Areia Brasil, Mineração Rogalski, e a multinacional Heinecken.

Com 50 anos de história, o Cara Cará somente está iniciando sua trajetória.
